Women Clothing Startup StalkBuyLove Attacked By Fashion Influencers

Published

on

In the past few days, we saw influencers Roshni Bhatia and Komal Pandey accusing women clothing startup, StalkBuyLove of ghosting them and not settling their dues. There were stories from both the influencers about their poor work ethics and unprofessionalism. Bloggers and influencers like Kusha Kapila and Diet Sabya came up for their support thrashing the company for not paying people’s money and ghosting them while shutting down their website.

This is Roshni bursting out for her unpaid dues.

Clearly Komal is equally angry for her dues not being cleared.

Other influencers joined them and tried to bring down StalkBuyLove and reveal their work ethics.

To this, the fashion startup StalkBuyLove’s founder Shikha Ahluwalia replied with a few responses on her Instagram stories.

Shikha Ahluwalia tries to clarify allegations put up against her.

The founder Shikha Ahluwalia also came clean about her finances on StalkBuyLove’s official Instagram account’s IGTV.

She talks about how awful she is feeling about not being able to refund the customer’s money and will try to get back to them asap! Shikha also mentions how they landed in a financial problem by one bad decision they took regarding one of the investors of StalkBuyLove.

Shikha spoke about the entrepreneurship spirit and how she will try her best to bounce back with a beautiful collection. She also mentioned how she received so many responses from girl’s whose first dress was from StalkBuyLove itself. The founder also sent out a positive message for Komal and Roshni while debating about some influencer norms.

We are looking forward to StalkBuyLove’s rise from this crisis and at the same time, we also hope that Komal and Roshni get justice. We really want to believe Shikha and keep ordering the pretty clothes from the company, isn’t it?

“Fashion lines are creating more products and services but for the most part, nobody really understands that there needs to be wider inclusivity and representation.

With such strong words by Sarah Owen, senior editor and trend forecaster of WSGN, a trend research companies. It tells how brands of Australia have only started to understand the potential of creating clothes. Also, the products for the oldies and the ones with disabilities.

Australia

Linda Dugan, the founder of Australian Company- Petal Black shares the requirement of the world of inclusive and adaptive fashion. She also tells about the story and the inspiration behind the starting of this clothing company. She designed a night wear for her grandmother who required daily dressing and assistance because once her nurse asked her to cut the grandmother’s nighties up at the back so as to ease the dressing process, she added.

But, she went one step ahead of all this and ended up making designing something even better! A wrap around structure that crossed over at the back like petals.

Australia

Moreover, she also shares how she was advised years ago to not focus on the fashion line for women over 45 as traditional retail was edging in on the younger buyers. She realised there was a cohort in Australia for those who were completely cut off from the world of fashion.

With an amount of thousand dollars, she started producing easier to wear clothes when the requests by the nurses. In 2020, the company aims to go global, launching a particular campaign to sell to the companies of the US. It is expected to grow at an enormous rate as a trend conveys that people with a disability own a disposable income of approx worth $8 trillion. Dugan has been one of the earliest entrepreneurs in the online space for accessible clothing.
