Apple will unveil the next iPhone on September 10th. Apple confirmed the release date of the new iPhones by sending out press invites for an event on September 10. The company is expected to unveil the new iPhone 11 series and a few other hardware that day. If they’re anything like the rumours have indicated, Apple’s core iPhone upgrades will carry the new “Pro” moniker. They’ll probably have a Lightning port, and they might have a three-lens camera array on the back, widening the camera bump.

The firm has sent out colourful invites summoning press to the event at Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California. Well, we’re not sure about the other products, but the new iPhone is expected to go on sale as early as this month. According to the folks over at MacRumors, Apple’s new iPhone-lineup will be up for pre-order in the US from Friday, September 13.

The expected price of Apple iPhone 11 in India is Rs. 101990.

As for the in-store availability, the new iPhones are said to go on sale a week later, i.e September 20. This particular report comes from a source who claims to work at a major carrier in the US. The carriers are said to have been provided a blog with internal communication, which suggests that the upcoming iPhone models will be available to pre-order starting September 13.

Obviously, there’s no way to confirm this, but we’ve been hearing these dates for quite some time now. So it’s safe to assume that these new iPhones will indeed be made available this month. Apple iPhone XI Expected to be launched on 10th September 2019. The 64GB / 4GB variant of Apple iPhone XI costs around Rs. 1,01,990 and expected to available in Silver, Dark Blue and Midnight Black colour.

The iPhone XS successor is said to start at $999, whereas the successor of iPhone XS Max is said to start at $1,099. As of now, we’re not sure about the India pricing, but we’re expecting the new iPhones to start at around Rs 70,000.

Apart from the iPhone, the new releases could include Apple Watch, MacBook, iPad and other releases. Rumours suggest that Apple could be introducing a smaller version of its stylus, the Apple Pencil, designed to be used for the iPhone. The current Pencil is built for the iPad and does not support usage on the iPhone, being taller than every version of the phone.

Explained: The Technology Behind The Lion King

Published

on

Simba and Nala stole our hearts more than twenty-five years ago with the iconic Lion King. What made the movie work then, and what made its remake that was released in July work – is the technology.

The minds that devise how to put to use all the relevant and available technology into use in a way that will best bring out all the emotions, facial expressions, feelings, and simply the whole personality of a small cub when paired with background music and voice-overs – they take the movie from just another release to one of the most awaited ones this year. Though overall, there have come to light quite a bit of mixed reviews regarding The Lion King, the common consensus has been that the graphics of the film are impeccable.

A Virtual Lion King Production Process.”

The team behind The Lion King described the making of the film as a “virtual production process.”

Director Jon Favreau told journalists that they aimed to apply the technology used. They wanted live-action filmmaking to the virtual recreation of Serengeti they would develop.

Recreating Serengeti

A dedicated team went to Kenya in order to conduct extensive research on the features of the landscapes and wildlife there. A huge number of photographs were taken which would later help the graphics team. The effects team to reimagine that place accurately for a worldwide audience.

Artificial Intelligence

The director revealed that AI was used to feed the 3D model of the lion in various scenarios. For scenes like crying or being hungry which were then used in the film, in order to help the computer make a connection between intent and behaviour.

Huge effort and thought go into creating a film like this. Bringing together filmmaking tools and animation in order to create a whole new world.
