This is because a lot needs to be done in a restrained space. And most Indian houses always have a problem with space with the big families we have. 1. Create depth with mirrors 

Mirrors are a great way to add depth to a smaller bedroom because of their ability to act like additional windows. Hanging several smaller mirrors in a group can add lots of visual interest while using one large mirror will instantly create the illusion of more square footage.

2. Statement wallpaper 

With a statement-making print stealing your attention, you’ll hardly notice that your side table is barely big enough to fit a book. Also, it amps the style factor notches higher and makes the room look so much livelier. Use it on one wall preferably, however you can use it on multiple walls too.

3. Under-bed storage 

Tiny bedrooms are often short on storage, so use every inch of space. Large baskets, plastic bins or rolling drawers create easy-to-use extra storage under your bed. Also, since it’s tucked away, it won’t make the room look untidy and unorganized. Also, use your bed box.

4. Customize your furniture 

Having custom furniture made for your bedroom can be a very worthwhile investment. It will be precise and will fulfil all your needs. For example, a wall-mounted bedside table with a chair to fight exactly under it will avoid taking up space necessarily.

Smart lighting choices have a big effect on how a small bedroom feels. It can make or break the feel of a room. Soft light coming from several different directions is a good idea, as it will blur the edges of your room and, in turn, make it feel larger.

1. Hitting The Snooze Button

It’s so easy to wake up to your alarm and simply press the snooze button. Those extra few minutes are so enticing. But if you’re already very tired, snoozing is the last thing you need. After snoozing the alarm, you will likely start a new sleep cycle, which will be interrupted once the alarm goes off again. Sleep inertia, a groggy and tired state, affects you whenever you wake up, but snoozing just lengthens the time you’re afflicted. 20 minutes might turn into two to four hours.

Not only is nail biting unhygienic, it is also socially repelling, leads to dental problems like malocclusion of the anterior teeth, potentially cause stomach problems and lead to severely deformed fingernails in the long run. People who bite their nails tend to have shorter nails than the average person; their nail plates also experience scarring and may eventually become absent. Your hands are the dirtiest part of you they touch everything: doorknobs, food, toilets, other people. The list goes on. Putting these dirty digits in your mouth could give you a cold or another illness, depending on what microbes are chilling on your fingers.

Staying hydrated helps to keep your memory sharp, your mood stable and your motivation intact. Keeping up with your fluids helps your skin stay supple, your body cool down when it’s hot, allows your muscles and joints to work better and helps clean toxins from your body via your kidneys. So, how much water should you be drinking? Science says adult men need about 13 cups per day of fluid; adult women need about 9.

 

4. Brushing Your Teeth Right After Eating

It seems counterintuitive to brush your teeth before breakfast unless you’re in the habit of eating on the way, but it can be the best option. Brushing your teeth right after eating or drinking can be a unhealthy habit for your tooth enamel, especially if you ate something acidic. Acid isn’t good for the enamel on your teeth; it erodes the protective covering. As a result, brushing right after you eat can push the acid even further into your teeth. Plus, once the acid gets through the enamel, it starts eating at another layer on your teeth: the dentin. Wait at least 30 minutes after eating to brush your teeth.

 

5. Eating Lunch at Your Desk

It’s all too easy to munch on your midday meal desk-side, but according to research published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, you’ll feel more satisfied and will rein in that temptation to binge mid afternoon if you turn your attention toward your meal. Study participants who ate lunch without distractions felt fuller 30 minutes after eating, and ate less when they snacked later, than people who played solitaire on a computer during their midday meal. Mindful eating is the key. Work towards breaking this unhealthy habit.

 

6. Skipping Dessert

You may think you’re doing a good thing by banishing sweet treats. But studies suggest that feeling deprived-even if you are consuming plenty of calories-can trigger overeating. And making any food off-limits just increases its allure. So if it’s something sweet you’re craving, go for it: a small treat won’t break your diet! Two squares of dark chocolate or ½ cup of ice cream clock in at under 150 calories. While keep in mind too much dessert is also unhealthy.
