Celebrity Twins Who Are Poles Apart

Nepotism in the film industry is a hot topic these days. People who are in this fraternity already, often give their family or friends a chance to join the same line of work as them. In Bollywood or in Hollywood, the siblings jump on the bandwagon of joining the film industry. We bring to you a few celebrity twins who poles apart. Not only they look different, but they are also far from what their famous siblings do.

Mark Sinclair, popularly known as Vin Diesel is an American actor, producer, director, and screenwriter. He is best known for playing Dominic Toretto in the Fast & Furious franchise, making him one of the highest-grossing actor of all time. While Vin Diesel has managed to earn worldwide stardom, and accumulate a wealth of an estimated $160 million, his twin brother, Paul Vincent (Sound editor), prefers to stay out of the spotlight. Therefore, very little is known about him. He has also collaborated with Vin Diesel for several of his movies, including the “Fast and Furious” franchise.

Ashton and Michael Kutcher

Ashton Kutcher is an American actor, producer, and entrepreneur. He recently starred in the movie The Long Home (2019) alongside other big stars like James Franco and Josh Hartnett. However, his twin brother, Michael Kutcher, is an American businessman, public speaker, and advocate for children with cerebral palsy and organ donation. By age three, Michael was battling significant developmental delays. He was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy before he entered kindergarten and also had a life-saving heart transplant as a teenager as a result of heart failure brought on by a virus. The celebrity twin is hard to believe.

Rami and Sami Malek

Rami Malek, an American actor and producer who is best known for his American drama series Mr Robot. While his twin brother, Sami Malek, who was born four minutes later, has stayed away from the limelight. He is a qualified teacher. Furthermore, Scarlet Johansson’s upcoming movies are Black Widow and Sing 2 whereas his twin brother doesn’t seem to have any upcoming projects.

Gisele and Patricia Bündchen

It is hard to believe but they actually are twin sisters. Gisele Bündchen joined her first modelling class with her twin sister Patricia, she was the only one to move up in the industry. Patricia Bündchen, however, didn’t harbour any resentment towards her twin sister and decided to dedicate her time towards helping manage Gisele Bündchen’s career. Over the years, Patricia Bündchen has worked as Gisele’s manager as well as her spokesperson. This arrangement seems to suit them perfectly, especially since Patricia Bündchen is reportedly very shy, compared to Gisele’s outgoing personality. The Celebrity twins support each other in hard times.

Harami focuses on the story of a teenage boy, who pickpockets at local Mumbai stations with his gang. His life takes a 180-degree when he falls in hopelessly in love with the daughter of one of his victims, who died by suicide after being robbed. On his path of redemption, the boy faces strong opposition from his boss (Emraan Hashmi).

Talking about his character, Emraan Hashmi says,

“My character is a former English teacher who does a U-turn to become the ringleader of a gang of young pickpockets who frequent Mumbai locals. So, while everyone around him speaks Bambaiya Hindi, Sagar Bhai chooses to speak in English because he’s tutoring these slum kids in the language too, so they can hoodwink unsuspecting foreign tourists and flick their wallets.”

Earlier this month, Emraan Hashmi unveiled his first look from the film. He can be seen sporting long curly hair with a gold chain and a pair of framed spectacles in the poster.

Talking about the film, director Shyam said in a statement,

“Harami, while set in the streets and slums of Mumbai is a universal story of hope and redemption. The film, a labour of love, took me over two years to just scout during numerous visits to India and despite all the monumental challenges we shot live in Victoria Terminus, Bombay Central, and other trains stations, a feat not for the faint-hearted. With crews over 200 including international talent from America, UK, Denmark and South Africa, Harami was a global production set in the slums of Dharavi and crowded streets of Mohamed Ali Road.”

On casting Emraan, Madiraju went on to say,

“It was Emraan Hashmi playing the role of ‘Sagar Bhai’ a very Dickensian Feagin-like character who is a former English teacher turned gang lord who is the real revelation of the film. The role complex and nuanced and unlike anything Emraan had done before, was a true challenge for both Emraan and me.”
