Best Fried Okra Recipe With Hidden Benefits

 Okra, commonly known as Ladyfinger is a flowering plant that belongs to the family of hibiscus and cotton. Ladyfinger dish is quite prevalent in an Indian household. Many people are oblivious of the fact that there are two types of Okras- Red Okra and Green Okra.

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. cornmeal
2 tsp. kosher salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 1/4 c. buttermilk
12 oz. okra, stems removed, sliced into 1/2″ thick rounds
Vegetable oil, for frying

Directions

  1. Line a baking sheet with paper towels. In a large bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, salt, garlic powder, paprika, and peppers. Pour buttermilk into a medium bowl.
  2. Working in batches, toss okra in buttermilk, stirring to coat, then toss in flour mixture, making sure okra is well coated.
  3. In a medium skillet over medium heat, add just enough oil to coat the bottom of the pan. When the oil is hot, work in batches and add okra, making sure to not overcrowd the pan.
  4. Fry 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, to make sure all sides are golden and fried.
  5. Drain on a prepared baking sheet.
  6. Add more oil between batches, as necessary.
  7. Your fried okra is ready to be served.

A few hours ago, Sony announced the price and release date of the PlayStation 5, its next-generation game console. It’s much-awaited news for all the gamers. The beautiful black and white console gives it an edgy look.  The cost of The PlayStation 5 and the PS5 Digital Edition is $499 and $399 respectively. The Japanese tech giant said the PS5 will launch in the US, Canada, Japan, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea on November 12 and the “rest of the world” on November 19. Pre-orders for the next-generation game console will begin today. We are ready for a new state-of-the-art gaming experience!

In terms of specifications, the PS5 will feature a custom eight-core AMD Zen 2 CPU clocked at 3.5GHz and a custom GPU based on AMD’s RDNA 2 architecture hardware that promises 10.28 teraflops and 36 compute units clocked at 2.23GHz.

It will also have 16GB of GDDR6 RAM and a custom 825GB SSD.

The PS5 will also feature a 4K Blu-ray drive and will still support discs, but those games will still require installation to the internal SSD.

Sony is also introducing the multiplayer option starting from this Friday and for PS4 users, the option will be available tomorrow onwards.
